Shake Off the Dust from your Feet

The following is a compilation of Jesus' instruction to His disciples when He sent them out to witness to "the lost sheep of the house of Israel.(Mt10:6)" Compiled from Matthew10:12-15; Mark6:10-11; Luke9:4-6; 10:10-12;

When ye come into an house, salute it. If the house be worthy, let your peace come upon it and abide there until you depart from that city. But if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you.

Into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you not, nor hear your words, go out into the streets of the same, and say, "Even the very dust of your city, which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh unto you." Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city. -Jesus

And they(Christ's disciples) departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where. -Luke

A Later Example:

Acts 13:50-52 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts. But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium. And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

In the past, I have wasted much valuable time by NOT following Christ's instruction. I am ashamed to admit I have spent as much as six months arguing with those who refuse to accept the words of Jesus(as received from His Father)  and those whom He has inspired in the Holy Bible, just as it reads. I now use what I consider to be the most-vital words of Jesus to test the spirits => http://sidnash.org/docs/VitalWords.html

If they will not believe Jesus, they won't believe me either, so I must sadly depart, according to Jesus' instruction.

Desiring to live by every word that comes from the mouth of Jehovah (Deut8:3; Matt4:4)
