One God; One Mediator; One Lord

"Jesus saith... no one cometh unto the Father, but by me."(John 14:6)

"From everlasting he was the Mediator of the covenant, the one in whom all nations of the earth, both Jews and Gentiles, if they accepted him, were to be blessed. 'The Word was with God, and the Word was God.'"(Ellen White, RH April 5, 1906, par. 5)

Regarding "From everlasting", see Micah 5:2 study => http://sidnash.org/?Mi5.2

"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;" "But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him."(1 Timothy 2:5; 1 Corinthians 8:6)

"Let the missionaries of the cross proclaim that there is one God, and one Mediator between God and man, who is Jesus Christ the Son of the Infinite God. This needs to be proclaimed throughout every church in our land. Christians need to know this, and not put man where God should be, that they may no longer be worshipers of idols, but of the living God. Idolatry exists in our churches." (Ellen White, 1888 886.3)

"... whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven."(Matthew 16:15-17)

"I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels... Hurt not the earth... till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads." "... a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads."(Revelation 7:2-3; 14:1)

Desiring to live by every word that comes from the mouth of Jehovah (Deut8:3; Mt4:4)
