1 Corinthians 8:6 yet to us there is one God, the Father... and one Lord, Jesus Christ...
Romans 10:9-11 If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved. As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”(Isaiah28:16 quoted by Paul)
Isaiah 28:16 Therefore, this is what the Sovereign Lord[Jehovah, Father of Jesus] says: “Look! I am placing a foundation stone in Jerusalem, a firm and tested stone. It is a precious cornerstone that is safe to build on. Whoever believes need never be shaken.
In Matthew 16:16, Peter said to Jesus, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Jeremiah 10:10 But [Jehovah] is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King! ...
In John 17:3, Jesus, praying to His Father, said, "And this is the way to have eternal life—to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth."
In Matthew 16:18, Jesus, speaking of Himself, said to Peter, "upon this rock[foundation stone/firm and tested stone/cornerstone(Is28:16)] I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it."
Romans 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.
