Father God is our Saviour according to Paul and Jehovah

Titus 3:3-7 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another. 4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

According to the apostle Paul in Titus 3, God is "our Saviour". But, what God is he referring to? Paul answers is 1Cor8:4-6 => "... there is none other God but one. 5 For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,) 6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him."

So, what we see in Titus 3 is that =>

  1. The Father is "our Saviour"
  2. The Father "saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit"
  3. The Father "shed" "the Holy Spirit" "on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour"

The apostle Peter agreed =>
Acts2:32-33 "This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. "

Like Paul in Titus 3, notice above: Peter said that "This Jesus" =>

  1. Is exalted(glorified)
  2. At the right hand of God(His Father)
  3. Received the Holy Spirit from His Father
  4. Shed forth the Holy Spirit to His followers at Pentecost

Likewise, Paul said similar to the Galatians in different words, while also identifying the "Holy Spirit"=>
Galatians 4:6 "And because ye are sons, God[the Father] hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father."

Isaiah 43:3,11 For I am Jehovah thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour... 11 I, even I, am Jehovah; and besides me there is no saviour.

Isaiah 45:21 ... who hath declared it of old? have not I, Jehovah? and there is no God else besides me, a just God and a Saviour; there is none besides me.

Isaiah 49:26 ... all flesh shall know that I, Jehovah, am thy Saviour, and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

Isaiah 60:16 Thou shalt ... know that I, Jehovah, am thy Saviour...

Hosea 13:4 Yet I am Jehovah thy God from the land of Egypt; and thou shalt know no god but me, and besides me there is no saviour.

Here is one way in which Father Jehovah is our Saviour in that "He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."(Jesus, Jn3:16 ). The Apostle John said, "God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.(1 John 4:9-10).
