Her maiden name appears to be based on the fact that her husbandtransported her brothers George Young and William Young, as well as herself & John Kent, to MD in 1665. It is assumed they were probably married in VA before moving to MD. A Richard Young was an executor of the 1733 will of her grandson, John Kent, Sr. Her husband names his wife Thomasin in various documents. On 24 Dec 1675, George Young of Calvert Co. produced her will and asked to be appointed dministrator.

Thomasine married Henry Kent, son of Humphrey Kent and Joan Arundell. (Henry Kent was born in 1630 in VA ⁴⁸¹ and died in 1677 in Calvert County MD ⁴⁸¹.)
