Nathaniel Ladd
General Notes: In his book John C. Ladd makes no mention of the name of Daniel and Joseph's father. He does state that "In the summer of 1632 his [referring to Daniel] father was lost in an accident at sea and his oldest brother became head of the family as prescribed by English Common Law." He also states: "Daniel had several brothers, all of whom were older, but only have the name of one, Joseph, who was one year older." Nathaniel married Margaret Denwood, daughter of William Denwood and Kathleen Jenkin, on 27 Oct 1614 in Wiltshire, England. (Margaret Denwood was born about 1593 of St.Mary, Sandwich, Kent, England and died in England.) |
