Eleazer Nash"AARON NASH, son of Ephraim Nash of Granby, Mass. b. 23 Feb. 1712, by GEN: occupation a joiner and house carpenter, m. 2 Dec. 1736, Damaris Waite of Northampton. His house was the first south of the GEN: present residence of Mr. John B. Nash in Granby, where a two story house now stands. He appears to have been an active, GEN: enterprizing man, frequently a prominent actor in town affairs. He was one of the GEN: Selectmen of the town of Granby, 7 March, 1770, and together with his brother Lieut. Eleazar Nash, Town Surveyor, laid out a GEN: roqad for the town. The last time he is mentioned in the Granby records is in the record of a town meeting, 10 Jan. 1774, of GEN: which Aaron Nash was moderator. He must have removed to Brattleborough, Vt. soon afterward, as his first deed of purchase GEN: there (of John Houghton) is dated 4th of May, 1774. There is no record of his or his wife's death.
