GEN: "In September 1774, he was elected as Representative to the Provinical Congress of the Massachusetts Bay to be holden at GEN: Concord in October of that year. According to the journal published by order of the Legislature in 1838, that Congress, on GEN: acocunt of British interference, convened at Salem on Friday, 7 October 1774, and Daniel Nash was in attendance. During that GEN: period he appears to have been active in the cause of the Colonies, and was one of the Committee of Safety." GEN: "Mr. Nash is said to have been a man of athletic frame, inclining to corppulency, which in his latter days became so excessive GEN: that he could not tie his own shoe." GEN: The Rev.
