How Heaven Communicates With Earth – part 1

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life... 65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. 66 ¶ From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 ¶ Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.

The words of Christ = spirit = “eternal life”

"He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."(John12:48-50)

The words of Jehovah through His Son are spirit and “life everlasting”

For he[Christ] whom God hath sent speaketh the words of God: for God giveth not the Spirit by measure unto him. The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. -John the baptist, John 3:34-36

The words of Father Jehovah are the "Spirit" given to Christ, without "measure"

Revelation 1:1 ¶ The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him[Jesus], to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he[Jesus] sent and signified it by his[Jesus'(Rev22:16)] angel unto his servant John: 2 Who bare record of the word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw. 3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Path of Communication: Jehovah=>Christ=>angel=>John(the prophets)=>us.

Revelation 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

Who has the “testimony of Jesus” and what is it?

Revelation 19:10 ¶ And I fell at his feet to worship him[angel]. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

The Angel has the “testimony of Jesus”

Revelation 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The 144,000 have the “testimony of Jesus”

Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness[testimony(same Greek word)] of Jesus, and for the word of God...

The martyrs have the “testimony of Jesus”

1 Peter 1:10 ¶ Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: 11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

The prophets/martyrs/144,000/angels all(not just one prophet) have the “testimony of Jesus” which is the “Spirit of Christ”(1Pet1:10) which is the “Spirit of Prophesy”(Rev 19:10) Please notice that these are literal descriptive phrases, not titles or metaphors.

Genesis 28:10 And Jacob went out from Beer-sheba, and went toward Haran. 11 And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set. And he took one of the stones of the place, and put it under his head, and lay down in that place to sleep. 12 And he dreamed. And behold, a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven. And behold, the angels of God ascending and descending on it. 13 And, behold, Jehovah stood above it, and said, I am Jehovah, the God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac. The land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed.

So, what/who is this "ladder", that stretches from Earth to Heaven, that was shown to Jacob?

John 1:47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile! 48 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee. 49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel. 50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these. 51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.

Who is our intercessor with Father Jehovah?

Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Hebrews 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he[Christ] ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Who is our advocate with Jehovah?

1 John 2:1 ¶ My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

Who is our mediator with Jehovah?

1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

In addition to Jesus, do we have any other intercessor/advocate/mediator with Jehovah?

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

According to the Bible, what is a spirit?

Daniel 2:3 And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was troubled to know the dream.

Daniel 7:15 ¶ I Daniel was grieved in my spirit in the midst of my body, and the visions of my head troubled me.

1 Corinthians 14:14 For if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prayeth, but my understanding is unfruitful.

Luke 1:47 And my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Saviour.

Romans 1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;

2 Corinthians 2:13 I had no rest in my spirit, because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.

1 Corinthians 2:11(NLT) No one can know a person’s thoughts except that person’s own spirit, and no one can know God’s thoughts except God’s own Spirit.

John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

So, how does the Bible define a spirit? Answer: Is it our mind, from which our thoughts, words, and actions come forth? Maybe that's why Paul said this:

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

If we let Christ's mind be in us by reading and believing what He says in the Bible, does that mean that Christ(His Spirit) is in us?

Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

How many spirits give us access to Father Jehovah?

Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

1 Corinthians 12:4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Ephesians 2:18 For through him[Christ] we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

From whom does that "one Spirit" come from?

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities... the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us... 34It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also[ref to: who is at the rt. hand] maketh intercession for us.

2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (NLT) For the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom... And the Lord—who is the Spirit—makes us more and more like him as we are changed into his glorious image.-Paul

According to Paul, who is "the Lord"? => 1 Corinthians 8:6 "But to us there is but... one Lord Jesus Christ...."

Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

John 6:63(NLT) The Spirit alone gives eternal life. Human effort accomplishes nothing. And the very words I have spoken to you are spirit and life. -Jesus (see also 1Cor 8:4-6)

1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

So, from whom does that one spirit come from? Answer: Jesus Christ -- His words -- the Spirit of the Lord.

Acts 5:3 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land? ... 9 But Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to try the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them that have buried thy husband are at the door, and they shall carry thee out.

Here, we see Peter saying that "the Holy Ghost" is "the Spirit of the Lord".

Romans 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. -Paul

Here, we saw Paul equate the "Spirit of God" with the "Spirit of Christ."

How important is all of this?

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.-1John 5:9-13

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. -John 3:36

Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: ... And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.-John 17:1,3.

Jesus saith... no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.-John 14:6

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.-1 John 3:2

Desiring to live by every word that comes from the mouth of Jehovah (Deut8:3; Mt4:4)
