According to Jesus:

  1. When we assimilate His teachings, we HAVE eternal life
    • John 6:54,63,68
  2. He has no teachings other than from His Father
    • John 5:19,30; 7:16; 8:26,28; 12:49
  3. His Father's teachings ARE eternal life
    • John 12:49-50
  4. Eternal Life is DEFINED as knowing His Father as "the only true God" and by knowing Jesus -- "the only-born Son" of "the only true God".
    • John 17:1,3; 3:16
  5. "in the last day", we will be judged by the teachings of "the only true God", through His Son
    • John 12:48-50; 17:1,3
