Mark 1:4 ¶ Yochanan came immersing{or, immersing} in the wilderness and proclaiming the immersion of repentance for forgiveness of sins.
5 All the country of Judea and all those of Jerusalem went out to him. They were immersed by him in the Jordan river, confessing their sins.
6 Yochanan was clothed with camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist. He ate locusts and wild honey.
