Ezekiel 1:1 ¶ Now it happened in the thirtieth7970 year,8141 in the fourth7243 month, in the fifth2568 of the month,2320 as I was among8432 the captives1473 by the river5104 Chebar,3529 that the heavens8064 were opened,6605 and I saw7200 visions4759 of God.430{The Hebrew word rendered “God” is “אֱלֹהִ֑ים” (Elohim).}2 In the fifth2568 of the month,2320 which was the fifth2549 year8141 of king4428 Jehoiachin's3112 captivity,15463 the word1697 of Yahweh3068 came expressly to Ezekiel3168 the priest,3548 the son1121 of Buzi,941 in the land776 of the Chaldeans3778 by the river5104 Chebar;3529 and the hand3027 of Yahweh3068 was there on him.
4 I looked,7200 and behold,{“Behold”, from “הִנֵּה”, means look at, take notice, observe, see, or gaze at. It is often used as an interjection.} a stormy wind7307 came935 out of the north,6828 a great1419 cloud,6051 with flashing784 lightning,3947 and a brightness5051 around5439 it, and out of its midst8432 as it were glowing5869 metal,2830 out of the midst8432 of the fire.7845 Out of its midst8432 came the likeness1823 of four702 living creatures.2416 This was their appearance:4758 they2007 had the likeness1823 of a man.1206 Everyone259 had four702 faces,6440 and each one259 of them had four702 wings.36717 Their feet7272 were straight3477 feet;7272 and the sole3709 of their feet7272 was like the sole3709 of a calf's5695 foot;7272 and they sparkled5340 like5869 burnished7044 brass.51788 They had the hands3027 of a man120 under their wings3671 on their four702 sides;7253 and the four702 of them had their faces6440 and their wings3671 thus:

28 As the appearance4758 of the rainbow7198 that is in the cloud6051 in the day3117 of rain,1653 so was the appearance4758 of the brightness5051 all around.5439 This was the appearance4758 of the likeness1823 of the glory3519 of Yahweh.3068 When I saw7200 it, I fell5307 on my face,6440 and I heard8085 a voice6963 of one that spoke.1696
