6 It shall be, that the firstborn1060 whom she bears shall succeed6965 in the name8034 of his brother251 who is dead,4191 that his name8034 not be blotted out4229 of Israel.3478

8 Then the elders2205 of his city5892 shall call7121 him, and speak1696 to him: and if he stand,5975 and say,559 "I don't want2654 to take3947 her;"
9 then his brother's wife2994 shall come5066 to him in the presence5869 of the elders,2205 and loose2502 his shoe5275 from off his foot,7272 and spit3417 in his face;6440 and she shall answer6030 and say,559 "So shall it be done6213 to the man376 who does not build up1129 his brother's251 house."100410 His name8034 shall be called7121 in Israel,3478 The house1004 of him who has his shoe5275 untied.2502
