Amos 9:1 ¶ I saw7200 the Lord136 standing5324 beside the altar,4196 and he said,559 "Strike5221 the tops3730 of the pillars, that the thresholds5592 may shake;7493 and break1214 them in pieces on the head7218 of all of them; and I will kill2026 the last319 of them with the sword:2719 there shall not one of them flee5127 away,5127 and there shall not4422 one of them escape.6412 cr 2 Though they dig2864 into Sheol,7585{Sheol is the place of the dead.} there my hand3027 will take3947 them; and though they climb up5927 to heaven,8064 there I will bring them down.3381 cr 3 Though they hide2244 themselves in the top7218 of Carmel,3760 I will search2664 and take them out3947 there; and though they be hidden5641 from my sight5869 in the bottom7172 of the sea,3220 there I will command6680 the serpent,5175 and it will bite5391 them. cr 4 Though they go3212 into captivity7628 before6440 their enemies,341 there I will command6680 the sword,2719 and it will kill2026 them.
