WHO CONFESSED JESUS TO BE THE SON OF GOD?
NEBUCHADNEZZAR CONFESSED: "I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God." Daniel 3:25. "Jesus stood by their side in the fiery furnace, and the glory of his presence convinced the proud king of Babylon that it could be no other than the Son of God." TWO POSSESSED WITH DEVILS CONFESSED: "... they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?" Matthew 8:29
HIS DISCIPLES CONFESSED: "Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God." Matthew 14:33

MARK CONFESSED: "The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;" Mark 1:1
PETER CONFESSED: "And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. 18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." (Matthew 16:16-18). In other words, it seems that Jesus said that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the knowledge of Jesus being the Son of the living God. Upon this "rock" Jesus built His church. For what could be more foundational than the identity of Father God and His beloved Son, Jesus Christ?

MARTHA CONFESSED: "... Yea, Lord: I believe that thou art the Christ, the Son of God..." -John 11:27
THE EUNUCH CONFESSED: "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God." Acts 8:37

JOHN TELLS US:
He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 John 3:8
"... these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name. John 20:31
"Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God." 1 John 4:15
