John 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. 3 And THIS IS LIFE ETERNAL, THAT THEY MIGHT KNOW THEE THE ONLY TRUE GOD, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him(Father) that is true, and we are in him(Father) that is true, even in his(Father's) Son Jesus Christ. THIS(FATHER) IS THE TRUE GOD, AND ETERNAL LIFE. (parenthetical clarity added because this verse is often misread/misunderstood)

Revelation 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having THE SEAL OF THE LIVING GOD(The Father as per Mt 16:16-17): and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.

WHO IS THAT "LIVING GOD"?

Matthew 16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, THOU ART THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for THE FATHER SEEKETH SUCH TO WORSHIP HIM.

Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a LAMB stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having HIS FATHER'S NAME WRITTEN IN THEIR FOREHEADS. (The 144,000 have the seal of The Father{Rev 7:2} and have the Father's name in their foreheads, signifying who their God is)

Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY AND THE LAMB ARE THE TEMPLE OF IT.
