Genesis 50:1 And Joseph3130 fell5307 upon his father's1 face,6440 and wept1058 upon him, and kissed5401 him.
2 And Joseph3130 commanded6680 his servants5650 the physicians7495 to embalm2590 his father:1 and the physicians7495 embalmed2590 Israel.34783 And forty705 days3117 were fulfilled4390 for him; for so are fulfilled4390 the days3117 of those which are embalmed:2590 and the Egyptians4714 mourned1058{Heb. wept} for him threescore and ten7657 days.31174 And when the days3117 of his mourning1068 were past,5674 Joseph3130 spake1696 unto the house1004 of Pharaoh,6547 saying,559 If now I have found4672 grace2580 in your eyes,5869 speak,1696 I pray you, in the ears241 of Pharaoh,6547 saying,5595 My father1 made me swear,7650 saying,559 Lo,2009 I die:4191 in my grave6913 which I have digged3738 for me in the land776 of Canaan,3667 there shalt thou bury me.6912 Now therefore let me go up,5927 I pray thee, and bury6912 my father,1 and I will come again.77256 And Pharaoh6547 said,559 Go up,5927 and bury6912 thy father,1 according as he made thee swear.7650
Genesis 50:7 And Joseph3130 went up5927 to bury6912 his father:1 and with him went up5927 all the servants5650 of Pharaoh,6547 the elders2205 of his house,1004 and all the elders2205 of the land776 of Egypt,47148 And all the house1004 of Joseph,3130 and his brethren,251 and his father's1 house:1004 only their little ones,2945 and their flocks,6629 and their herds,1241 they left5800 in the land776 of Goshen.16579 And there went up5927 with him both chariots7393 and horsemen:6571 and it was a very3966 great3515 company.426410 And they came935 to the threshingfloor1637 of Atad,329 which is beyond5676 Jordan,3383 and there they mourned5594 with a great1419 and very3966 sore3515 lamentation:4553 and he made6213 a mourning60 for his father1 seven7651 days.311711 And when the inhabitants3427 of the land,776 the Canaanites,3669 saw7200 the mourning60 in the floor1637 of Atad,329 they said,559 This is a grievous3515 mourning60 to the Egyptians:4714 wherefore the name of it8034 was called7121 Abelmizraim,67{that is, the mourning of the Egyptians} which is beyond5676 Jordan.338312 And his sons1121 did6213 unto him according as he commanded6680 them:

Genesis 50:15 And when Joseph's3130 brethren251 saw7200 that their father1 was dead,4191 they said,559 Joseph3130 will peradventure3863 hate us,7852 and will certainly7725 requite7725 us all the evil7451 which we did1580 unto him.
16 And they sent{Heb. charged} a messenger6680 unto Joseph,3130 saying,559 Thy father1 did command6680 before6440 he died,4194 saying,55917 So shall ye say559 unto Joseph,3130 Forgive,5375 I pray thee577 now, the trespass6588 of thy brethren,251 and their sin;2403 for they did1580 unto thee evil:7451 and now, we pray thee, forgive5375 the trespass6588 of the servants5650 of the God430 of thy father.1 And Joseph3130 wept1058 when they spake1696 unto him.
18 And his brethren251 also went3212 and fell down5307 before his face;6440 and they said,559 Behold, we be thy servants.565019 And Joseph3130 said559 unto them, Fear3372 not: for am I in the place of God?43020 But as for you, ye thought2803 evil7451 against me; but God430 meant it2803 unto good,2896 to4616 bring to pass,6213 as itis this day,3117 to save24212794 much7227 people5971 alive.242121 Now therefore fear3372 ye not: I will nourish3557 you, and your little ones.2945 And he comforted5162 them, and spake1696 kindly3820 unto them.{Heb. to their hearts}
Genesis 50:22 And Joseph3130 dwelt3427 in Egypt,4714 he, and his father's1 house:1004 and Joseph3130 lived2421 an hundred3967 and ten6235 years.814123 And Joseph3130 saw7200 Ephraim's669 children1121 of the third8029generation: the children1121 also of Machir4353 the son1121 of Manasseh4519 were brought up3205 upon Joseph's3130 knees.129024 And Joseph3130 said559 unto his brethren,251 I die:4191 and God430 will surely6485 visit6485 you, and bring you out5927 of this land776 unto the land776 which he sware7650 to Abraham,85 to Isaac,3327 and to Jacob.329025 And Joseph3130 took an oath7650 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 saying,559 God430 will surely6485 visit6485 you, and ye shall carry up5927 my bones6106 from hence.208826 So Joseph3130 died,4191being an hundred3967 and ten6235 years8141 old:1121 and they embalmed2590 him, and he was put3455 in a coffin727 in Egypt.4714
