Deuteronomy 24:1 When a man376 hath taken3947 a wife,802 and married1166 her, and it come to pass that she find4672 no favour2580 in his eyes,5869 because he hath found4672 some1697 uncleanness6172{Heb. matter of nakedness} in her: then let him write3789 her a bill5612 of divorcement,3748{Heb. cutting off} and give5414 it in her hand,3027 and send7971 her out of his house.1004 2 And when she is departed out3318 of his house,1004 she may go1980 and be another312 man's376 wife. 3 And if the latter314 husband376 hate8130 her, and write3789 her a bill5612 of divorcement,3748 and giveth5414 it in her hand,3027 and sendeth7971 her out of his house;1004 or if the latter314 husband376 die,4191 which took3947 her to be his wife;802 4 Her former7223 husband,1167 which sent her away,7971 may3201 not take3947 her again7725 to be his wife,802 after310 that she is defiled;2930 for that is abomination8441 before6440 the LORD:3068 and thou shalt not cause the land776 to sin,2398 which the LORD3068 thy God430 giveth5414 thee for an inheritance.5159

Deuteronomy 24:5 When a man376 hath taken3947 a new2319 wife,802 he shall not go out3318 to war,6635 neither shall he be charged5674{Heb. not any thing shall pass upon him} with any business:1697 but he shall be free5355 at home1004 one259 year,8141 and shall cheer up8055 his wife802 which he hath taken.3947

Deuteronomy 24:7 If a man376 be found4672 stealing1589 any5315 of his brethren251 of the children1121 of Israel,3478 and maketh merchandise6014 of him, or selleth4376 him; then that thief1590 shall die;4191 and thou shalt put1197 2794 evil7451 away1197 from among7130 you.

Deuteronomy 24:16 The fathers1 shall not be put to death4191 for the children,1121 neither shall the children1121 be put to death4191 for the fathers:1 every man376 shall be put to death4191 for his own sin.2399
