Deuteronomy 21:10 When thou goest forth3318 to war4421 against thine enemies,341 and the LORD3068 thy God430 hath delivered5414 them into thine hands,3027 and thou hast taken7617 them captive,7628 11 And seest7200 among the captives7633 a beautiful8389 3303 woman,802 and hast a desire2836 unto her, that thou wouldest have her3947 to thy wife;802 12 Then thou shalt bring935 her home8432 to thine house;1004 and she shall shave1548 her head,7218 and pare6213{Or, suffer to grow. Deuteronomy 21:15 If a man376 have two8147 wives,802 one259 beloved,157 and another259 hated,8130 and they have born3205 him children,1121 both the beloved157 and the hated;8130 and if the firstborn1060 son1121 be hers that was hated:8146 16 Then it shall be, when3117 he maketh his sons1121 to inherit5157 that which he hath, that he may3201 not make the son1121 of the beloved157 firstborn1069 before6440 the son1121 of the hated,8130 which is indeed the firstborn:1060 17 But he shall acknowledge5234 the son1121 of the hated8130 for the firstborn,1060 by giving5414 him a double8147 portion6310 of all that he hath:4672{Heb. that is found with him} for he is the beginning7225 of his strength;202 the right4941 of the firstborn1062 is his.

Deuteronomy 21:18 If a man376 have a stubborn5637 and rebellious4784 son,1121 which will not obey8085 the voice6963 of his father,1 or the voice6963 of his mother,517 and that, when they have chastened3256 him, will not hearken8085 unto them: 19 Then shall his father1 and his mother517 lay hold8610 on him, and bring him out3318 unto the elders2205 of his city,5892 and unto the gate8179 of his place;4725 20 And they shall say559 unto the elders2205 of his city,5892 This our son1121 is stubborn5637 and rebellious,4784 he will not obey8085 our voice;6963 he is a glutton,2151 and a drunkard.5433 21 And all the men582 of his city5892 shall stone7275 him with stones,68 that he die:4191 so shalt thou put1197 2794 evil7451 away1197 from among7130 you; and all Israel3478 shall hear,8085 and fear.3372

Deuteronomy 21:22 And if a man376 have committed a sin2399 worthy of4941 death,4194 and he be to be put to death,4191 and thou hang8518 him on a tree:6086 23 His body5038 shall not remain all night3885 upon the tree,6086 but thou shalt in any wise6912 bury6912 him that day;3117 (for he that is hanged8518 is accursed7045 of God;)430{Heb. the curse of God} that thy land127 be not defiled,2930 which the LORD3068 thy God430 giveth5414 thee for an inheritance.5159
