2 Samuel 7:12 And when thy days3117 be fulfilled,4390 and thou shalt sleep7901 with thy fathers,1 I will set up6965 thy seed2233 after310 thee, which shall proceed3318 out of thy bowels,4578 and I will establish3559 his kingdom.446713 He shall build1129 an house1004 for my name,8034 and I will stablish3559 the throne3678 of his kingdom4467 for5704 ever.576914 I will be his father,1 and he shall be my son.1121 If he commit iniquity,5753 I will chasten3198 him with the rod7626 of men,582 and with the stripes5061 of the children1121 of men:12015 But my mercy2617 shall not depart away5493 from him, as I took5493it from Saul,7586 whom I put away5493 before6440 thee.
16 And thine house1004 and thy kingdom4467 shall be established539 for5704 ever5769 before6440 thee: thy throne3678 shall be established3559 for5704 ever.576917 According to all these words,1697 and according to all this vision,2384 so did Nathan5416 speak1696 unto David.1732

27 For thou, O LORD3068 of hosts,6635 God430 of Israel,3478 hast revealed1540241{Heb. opened the ear} to thy servant,5650 saying,559 I will build1129 thee an house:1004 therefore hath thy servant5650 found4672 in his heart3820 to pray6419 this prayer8605 unto thee.
28 And now, O Lord136 GOD,3069 thou art that God,430 and thy words1697 be true,571 and thou hast promised1696 this goodness2896 unto thy servant:565029 Therefore now let it please2974 thee to bless1288{Heb. be thou pleased and bless} the house1004 of thy servant,5650 that it may continue for ever5769 before6440 thee: for thou, O Lord136 GOD,3069 hast spoken1696it: and with thy blessing1293 let the house1004 of thy servant5650 be blessed1288 for ever.5769
