2 Kings 4:38 And Elisha477 came again7725 to Gilgal:1537 and there was a dearth7458 in the land;776 and the sons1121 of the prophets5030 were sitting3427 before6440 him: and he said559 unto his servant,5288 Set8239 on the great1419 pot,5518 and seethe1310 pottage5138 for the sons1121 of the prophets.5030 cr 39 And one259 went out3318 into the field7704 to gather3950 herbs,219 and found4672 a wild7704 vine,1612 and gathered3950 thereof wild7704 gourds6498 his lap899 full,4393 and came935 and shred6398 them into the pot5518 of pottage:5138 for they knew3045 them not. cr 40 So they poured out3332 for the men582 to eat.398 And it came to pass, as they were eating398 of the pottage,5138 that they cried out,6817 and said,559 O thou man376 of God,430 there is death4194 in the pot.5518 And they could3201 not eat398 thereof. cr 41 But he said,559 Then bring3947 meal.7058 And he cast7993 it into the pot;5518 and he said,559 Pour out3332 for the people,5971 that they may eat.398 And there was no harm1697 7451{Heb. evil thing} in the pot.5518 cr

And he said,559 Give5414 unto the people,5971 that they may eat.398 cr 43 And his servitor8334 said,559 What, should I set5414 this before6440 an hundred3967 men?376 He said again,559 Give5414 the people,5971 that they may eat:398 for thus saith559 the LORD,3068 They shall eat,398 and shall leave3498 thereof. cr 44 So he set5414 it before6440 them, and they did eat,398 and left3498 thereof, according to the word1697 of the LORD.3068 cr
