GEN: _FA1 GEN: PLAC No one talked about her in family, "wild woman"Had a very unhappy marriage. Blamed husband for death of baby. Velma GEN: left her husband and fell in love with her brother's best friend, Frank. Her husband broke into the house, shot and killed GEN: Frank (he might have shot and injured Velma, but no one remembers clearly). Authorities did not charge Frank, as he was GEN: "within his rights" to kill Frank for alienation of affection of his property, i.e., his wife. Velma did not live very long GEN: after that, the family thought she "died of a broken heart." GEN: Daisy and her sisters, Velma and Cecil were a trio that went around played for functions. Daisy played the piano, Cecil GEN: played the violin and Velma played the trombone. They were very accomplished and very much in demand.
