Enlisted in King Philip's War and is credited at the Garrison at Springfield, Mass., 24 June 1676 with l17 04S 09d, 24 Aug 1676 credited with l6 18s 10d. He was admitted as an inhabitant into the town of Springfield, Mass, 5 Feb 1676. He ison the list of names of about 130 persons who took the oath of allegiance in 1678, administered by Major John Pynchon under the authority of the general court held in Boston 2 Oct 1678. He was probably a carpenter as records show that in December 1680, he was paid for 17 days at 3s per day l02 11s for a new meeting house in Springfield.
