GEN: AARON COOKE, second of seven children, was born at Windsor, Feb. 21, 1640-1; married SARAH WESTWOOD, at Hadley. (He had received the Windsor homestead as a "marriage portion," but sold it to follow the Hadley settlers). From 1667 to 1692 he was ten times chosen selectman of Hadley; was justice of the peace for nearly thirty years; and a representative in General Court of Massachusetts, in 1689. 1691, 1693, and 1697; ensign in 1674 and captain 1680. He died Sept. 16, 1716. SARAH was born in 1641 and died March 24, 1730/
